Supporting individuals with disabilities during their transition to adulthood is essential for fostering independence and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by young people with disabilities as they move from childhood to adulthood and the strategies that can support their journey.

Led by professionals with extensive experience in disability advocacy, social work, and vocational rehabilitation, this training equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively assist individuals with disabilities in navigating this critical life transition. The course covers key topics such as life skills development, employment readiness, accessing community resources, and understanding legal rights.

Participants will engage in interactive learning through real-life case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, enabling them to develop effective strategies for supporting young adults with disabilities. By the end of the training, attendees will be confident in recognising individual needs, providing appropriate guidance, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.

This course is designed for educators, social workers, healthcare professionals, and anyone involved in supporting individuals with disabilities during their transition to adulthood. Our curriculum ensures that participants are equipped with the practical tools and techniques necessary to promote successful transitions and empower individuals to achieve their goals.
