Supporting young carers is vital for ensuring their well-being and helping them balance their responsibilities while accessing opportunities for personal growth. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by young carers and strategies for supporting them effectively.
Led by professionals with extensive experience in social work, education, and youth support, this training equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and assist young carers in various settings. The course covers key topics such as the impact of caregiving on young people’s lives, legal rights, and the importance of maintaining their own well-being.
Participants will engage in interactive learning, including real-life case studies, discussions, and role-playing scenarios, to develop practical approaches for supporting young carers. By the end of the training, attendees will be confident in recognising the signs of a young carer, understanding their unique needs, and providing appropriate support and resources.
This course is designed for educators, healthcare professionals, social workers, and anyone working with young people who may be providing care for family members. Our curriculum ensures that participants are equipped with the practical tools and techniques necessary to create a supportive environment for young carers.
