In this course, we will explore different aspects of the grieving process. This includes understanding the stages of grief, providing emotional support, and offering practical assistance to those who are mourning.
Participants will learn how to communicate empathetically, recognise signs of complicated grief, and navigate cultural and religious considerations related to bereavement.
The course will also focus on the importance of self-care for individuals providing support to the bereaved and will offer strategies for managing their own emotional well-being.
Overall, the bereavement course aims to equip participants with the skills and compassion needed to offer meaningful support during a challenging and sensitive time.
