Social Media Policy
Social media can bring significant benefits to companies, particularly for building
relationships with current and potential centres and for learners to communicate with
others.
Social media can also be dangerous if you are not careful. Every picture, link, quote, tweet,
status, or post that you or your friends put online is forever part of your digital footprint. You
never know when that will come back to hurt or help your reputation or that of others.
It’s important that all teaching centres and learners are responsible in the way they use their
social media. A misjudged status update or negative comments can generate complaints or
damage a company’s reputation. There are also security and data protection issues to
consider, as well as ensuring that assessment materials are kept confidential.
Complete Training (Devon) LTD and our awarding bodies therefore asks that all
centres advise all new and existing learners of this information.
Learners are required to sign below, declaring that you will not defame or otherwise
discredit fellow students, teachers or Complete Training (Devon) LTD and that they
have read and understood ours and our awarding bodies Social Media Policy’s.
