What this course is
This course provides in, depth, practical training in Mental Health First Aid, equipping learners with the knowledge, confidence and ethical awareness to recognise mental distress, respond appropriately, and support people to access help.
Mental Health First Aid is not about diagnosis or treatment. It is about early recognition, compassionate listening, risk awareness, and safe signposting, particularly in workplaces, education settings and communities. The course emphasises mental health as a universal, fluctuating human experience and challenges stigma through evidence, informed, trauma, aware practice.
The course aligns with nationally recognised Mental Health First Aid principles and is designed to support CPD, level learning, reflective practice and real, world application.
