Course Overview 

Many employees spend a significant proportion of their working day using computers and other display screen equipment. While these tools are essential for modern workplaces, prolonged use of poorly arranged workstations can lead to health problems such as musculoskeletal disorders, eye strain, and fatigue. 

This course provides essential knowledge on how to work safely when using Display Screen Equipment (DSE) in office environments. It explains how to set up a safe workstation, maintain good posture, reduce the risk of injury, and develop healthy working habits when using computers. 

The course is written in accordance with the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 and follows guidance provided by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). 

Learners will gain practical knowledge about workstation ergonomics, screen use, lighting, posture, and the importance of regular breaks.
