Course Overview

Behaviour in schools is often a reflection of underlying need. When pupils become distressed, overwhelmed or dysregulated, their behaviour can escalate quickly, impacting learning, safety and wellbeing.

This course provides school staff with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to understand behaviour, prevent escalation and respond effectively in challenging situations.

Grounded in UK guidance, including principles from the Department for Education’s behaviour advice and positive environment frameworks, this programme supports schools to build calm, structured and inclusive environments where pupils can flourish
